The village of Mala tsarkva is located in South-West Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Samokov. It lies 60km south of Sofia, in the foothills of the Rila mountain range, offering a perfect base for outstanding summer and winter holidays in some of the most beautiful and dramatic unspoilt Bulgarian countryside. Mala Tsarkva has extensive panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges . The mountain resort of Borovets is a mere 15 minutes away, whilst the Belchinski Bani spa, with warm mineral waters, is only 17km.
The snow usually covers the whole area from mid December until the end of March and still covers the peaks right into the middle of summer.
Our family holiday home is an ideal place to bring your children who are either learning to ski or who may already have some skiing experience.
